I think you've earned enough carbon credits from helping Dave spread the
word to buy back that Ford muscle car.
Though I get no respect any more on the roads, I am nevertheless
enjoying driving a small modern car these last couple of months. Nice
and warm in the winter, my feet are not soaking in water after the rain.
The boot is dry and does not need about 5 bed sheets in there to soak up
the leaks and stop a mountain of tools rusting up... I carry only one
small box of tools in the boot (habits die hard).
I can clear a misted-up window with the air conditioner before you can
say "Tie me kangaroo down sport" and my petrol bill has plummeted
absurdly. Next time the plate comes around in this alt.html church here,
there will be a loud and ostentatious clinking of coins.
And, besides, it is fun seeing what front wheel drive is like in a car
(I mean, it would be terrible on a motorbike*). Takes a bit of getting
used to.
