Hi,
I'm new to web desigining.
can u tell me which software is better for web designing--DreamWeaver or MS Frontpage?
Or do u suggest any other s/w...

I'v used both of them and I recommend Macromedia Dreamweaver. It's much easier to learn and use.

Ya I recommend DreamWeaver also, it's all a matter of opinion though. Most web design programs basically do the same thing, they have a design view, the code view, split, connection to site, and some even have intellisense. But I prefer DreamWeaver.

I personally prefer Adobe Dreamweaver. The user interface is very well thought out. If you are new to both programs, you can't go wrong with Dreamweaver.

I use Microsoft Visual Web Devoloper Express, its free and easy to use.

Another 'Yay' for DreamWeaver. DW gets a lot of flack, but I think CS4 has completely knocked most other site development tools out of the park. It has a great array of features that I used on a day-to-day basis. Of course, it does have it's set backs.

It depends on what technology you want to adopt. There is a wide range of IDEs available in the market. I would list out a few that you may use when you a particular technology
HTML : One Site 2009 (free), MS Front Page
PHP : Zend Studio, Komodo , Adobe Dreamweaver
Perl : Komodo
CFM : Adobe Dreamweaver
ASP : Visual Studio, Visual Web Developer Express (You may use sliverlight plugins too in these tools)
