Graphics from Flash to Illustrator without losing quality?

Hello :)

I purchased these this icon sets with the intention to modify them, since they had the vector sources. The thing is that the sources are Flash files which I'm not very related to. I tried exporting them to Illustrator but I keep loosing quality. I don't know which version of flash are the files made in, (I have Flash CS3 and Illustrator CS2). How can I export them in order to keep the quality?
