Multi-tier drop down menu problem

I am trying to create a multi-tier drop down menu, but I can't get it to work.

Maintime line, frame 1 - loads a mc. When you rollover the mc, this drops down a list: Elementary schools, Middle, Junior High, High schools.

When you roll over each of the categories, another menu is suppose to pop up. I was working on Elementary schools. When you rollover Elementary Schools the first item, "Percentage over enrolled", is suppose to slide out to the right. Then subsequent items will drop down (they haven't been added yet).

In the end, when you click on "Percentage over enrolled" a map will load where the box place holder is now.

How do I get the second tier of the drop down menu to work?
More specifically, how do I get a button to work inside of a movie clip? There seems to be no response.
