Performance Monitor in V7 doesnot exist in V8

The name change to Health monitor,
but when I use Health monitor, it show "Health monitor didnot start on instance"
How can I start it?

You have to enable monitoring, see the HEALTH_MON database manager
configuration parameter. Default = OFF.

The v7 performance monitor was replaced in part by the health monitor
(see Ian's advice) and a for-sale IBM product called the Performance Expert.
