how to build ace tool(adaptive communication environment in unix.

hi ,
I am new to ace tool.i am using downloaded version ACE+TAO+CIAO-5.6.1.
I got the following errors at the time of building the ace,those are

error1:: libTAO_messaging_la_pollable.lo.
leaving directory '/root/ACE/ACE_wrappers/build/TAO/tao'
(all recursive) error 1.
as like the first error i got two same errors.
please tell me how to resolve these problems.
