This forum is a general help forum for the C++ language. The C++ language
is defined by its international standard: ISO/IEC 14882. Programming
involving platform specific functionality is to be discussed in
platform/implementation specific newsgroups. Unfortunately since 80% of the
posts in here (last few days) are off-topic and morons keep protecting those
off-topic threads we have less and less time to spend on answering legit C++
*langauge* questions.
Unfortunately some idiots do not realise that this newsgroup is not
comp.programming.c++, but comp.lang.c++. Where lang means language. Where
langauge means the C++ language as defined by ISO/IEC 14882.
I wish those idiots would make a newsgroup for themselves, like
comp.lang.c++.42, short for
comp.lang.c++.the.meaning.of.life.the.world.and.ev erything so we could
finally do what we are here for: help each other with
questions/problems/doubts about *the C++ language*. Not Windows, not Linux,
not Fourier analysis, not password cracking not...
