Why not? You seem to be doing it. Test posts in regular newsgroups are
unwanted and can be considered spam.

Post your tests to one of the groups that have test in the name. On the
off chance that you have some legitimate reason to post tests in regular
newsgroups explain that reason in you test post. And use a subject of
"test" or "Test" or something but not "t_e_s_t", since simply "test" is
easier to tell a newsreader to ignore.
