PDF Generation Component?

Can anybody recommend a PDF generation component? There seem to be
quite a few out there at the same price point so it's difficult to get
an idea of which is the best without trialing them all.

Chris,

Are you looking for something to generate PDF documents directly or are
you converting from another format?

Personally, I started with a couple of components that directly built
PDF documents, such as PDFlib and iTextSharp. They were good packages,
as a whole, but I wanted to automate the creation of the PDF documents
for my purposes, so I switched over to generating XSL-FO documents and
generating the PDF documents from that.

If that is an approach that you are considering, I would recommend the
Ibex PDF Creator (http://www.xmlpdf.com/ibex.html). It is, in my
opinion, the best FO processor out there.
