I have seen many 3rd party rich text box controls. I have used free textbox
for quite some time and like it very much.

Imho http://www.fckeditor.net/ is best. Its free and open source. I dont use
current beta version (2.0 rc1). But FCKEditor 1.x is the best. U can find
its 1.x in sourceforge.net.
