I'm relatively new to programming - trying to set up Apache, MySQL and PHP on my home computer. The installs all ran fine, but now I'm trying to configure apache and PHP. Problem is on the internet I see lots of variations on the configurations.
I'm using PHP 5.2.4 and Apache 2.2.4 and installing it on Windows XP. Can anyone tell me straight up what modifications I need to make in the apache and php config files? For example, I've tried adding the load module and other configurations to apache, but I don't know where the best place to put them in the file is. Also, on some sites it recommends copying some of the PHP dlls to different folder directories. Any help or links to a good site would be awesome. Thanks.
