Open Access form sharing in the network is very slow

Dear All,
i have one access database in the network, i want to open 1 form after i input my user name and password in the login page..
but the open new form tooks about 30 secs the size of the database is 158 MB...
Any solution to make it faster...

what types of actions are taking place when your form is opening? Are there any queries that are being run in the background to generate data for the form?

Hi Twinnyfo,
yes, lookup table from the sql server to combo box, but now i tried to copy the access database to indivdual pc so its very faster than sharing from the network...
Anyway to avoid such a kind of slow speed across network...
