Combining of two update queries in one query

3
Hi All, if anyone can help on my query, I have two tables in MS access for example below:

Table1
Name data status
RXY 23
DOL
MNL 43

Table2
data Status
23 gul
43 pul

I am trying to create an update query in design view to so that the "status" column in "table1" updated with the help of table2 and remaining "Name" column in "table1" where no data find in "table2" should be updated as "gul" rest all "Status" detail should come from table2. Please help.. Thanks

Difficult to understand your English it is....

But maybe something like:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. UPDATE Table1, Table2
  2. SET Table1.status = Table2.status
  3. WHERE Table1.data = Table2.data
  4.
