Drop down values not populating correctly while opening MS Access application in 2010

Drop down values not populating while opening MS Access application in 2010 version which is developed in 2000 version. But the same file while accessing through 2007 version of MS Access, the application seems to be working fine. Any idea why this issue is encountered in 2010 version alone?
Also, be informed that the combo box in other forms are working fine as expected in 2010 version. Only in one form I'm facing this issue.
Please help.

There are known bugs between the versions.
Create a new "ACC2000" style database file using ACC2010
Then copy everything over to this new file created by the ACC2010 program.
Do this for both front and back end files.

What you really need to do is consider moving the data into the newer ACC2007/2010/2013 ACCDB format. Unless you are using the very old and depreciated user-level security, there is no reason to keep the old format. Finally, as of ACC2013, you will not be able to access any data in the very old ACC97 format and I suspect ACC2000 is next.
