Ribbon in Access 2007

I've just switched to access 2007 and find that the menu bar I've added is now a ribbon and takes up a large section at the top of the screen. My question is there a way to make this not so large. Thanks for any help.

As in all Office 2007 apps, you can double click any tab on the ribbon to minimize it.
