When I click on the button in my application, the only thing I see is "Close Database". I am missing "New", "Open", "Save" and "Save As". Is there some properties that I need to set to be able to see these available to me under the office button?

If you right click on the ribbon and go to Customise this ribbon it will open the settings. In there tick the show full menus tickbox under the Current Database options go down to the Ribbon and Toolbar options. Tick all the checkboxes. Close and reopen the database.

Apparently there is something set in my 2000 database that is causing problems. I did right click on the ribbon as suggested, however, I do not have the option to Customize the ribbon, all I see are the following options: "Customize Access Toolbar", "Show Access Toobar below ribbon" and "Minimize the Ribbon".
