VB code DB password for BE

Good aft,

I have a question regarding BE security, as i am sure most of you are aware, you can get into the BE data by linking importing, unless there is a DB password, i wonder if i could code this value into VB so that it wouldnt as upon FE load etc

OK after some more playing i realise that access stores the BE password in the linked tables, however now i can still link to the front end (from a blank DB) and access the BE anyway, so i would need a db password on my FE or delete the links?

i know there is a way to establish linked table by ADOX, can you put the password in there?

No ideas for this problem!? how do others protect their backends' from this kind of malicia?
