I'm new to Access so bear with me. I've found several other versions of this question in the forums but no posts that relate to my specific question. I have a table of bus trips with start and end times (from a DBF file in GIS, to an Excel sheet then into my Access DB). I am trying to figure out the elapsed time between start and end times. It seems simple enough but my start and end columns are in "number" format and when I try to change the data type to date/time and then to "short time" format I just get 0's. Once I get the times in the correct format how do I then populate a column with the hours and minutes between each trip?
