automate mail merge from access (incl php)

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the very poor description.

What i am endeavouring to acomplish is creating a web-interface form (check) using php to manipulate (adding records) MS access db (check) then ... (now i dont know how to achieve this)

getting the records i just entered to be used as variables in a mail-merge from a template already existing, save that as a sperate file, then email it the user who made the online form. The emialing part i can do with AD interogation and client side scripting for user ID and php mail().

I really have no idea how to do the mail merging part, or saving, automated. Can anyone hlpe with this? Or shoot me some ideas how to achieve that?
