Hi, I am a recent graduate of Software Engineering and I am struggling
to secure a job. I can't even seem to get into a support role or
helpdesk position as there always seems to be someone with experience
getting the job. I currently have no experience in an IT role. So I
have decided to take a course to gain a professional qualification. I
have already self funded a course in Oracle Database Fundamentals 10g
which I see now was a mistake as the course was designed for someone in
or moving to a DBA role. I was always very keen on Database Development
and exceeded in this subject throughout my studies. What I would like
to know is, are their any professional qualifications I could undertake
which can help me secure a Database development role or a role that
would lead to that position. Every course I seem to come across
requires you to already be in a role of that type. I would be very
grateful if anyone can help.

Thank you

re: Nedd help finding right course

I guess you are drawing our attention to this again.
A good answer in Boston may not be a good answer in Perth may not be a
good answer in Delhi etc.
You might get more help if you tell us where you are.
In the meantime, practise. Develop something. Post something clever and
original here.
