How to send emails from ms access..

Hi There,

I wanted my access database to have the follwing functionality.
I would really appreciate your input on how I can do this..



"When we book a contract interpreter for a job I would like for the system
to send an email to the
requester 48 hrs in advance to remind them that they booked an appt with us
and that we booked a contractor and if we do not get 36 hr cancellation
notice from them we will incur a 2 hour minimum charge."

I do have fields in my appointment table with the appointment date and
appointment time.
