Access 2003 won't open databases

Has anyone come across a similar problem? A company I'm doing some database
development work for has just installed 3 copies of MS Access 2003. Whenever
I try to open my Access database (created using Access 2003) it just shows
as a blank screen with no database structure. As a test, I created a new
database with a dummy table (no data) and then closed Access. After opening
Access again I opened the new database file with dummy table and same
problem, just a blank screen. I've even tried importing data from my
database into a new one but this also does not work. The database window
screen just remains the same with no messages to say that the import was
unsuccessful.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like what happens when the Access runtime is used to open a file that
doesn't load a form at startup or have a custom menu bar.

Just another by thought there was an Access 2000 runtime installed
previously, but this is no longer there, and it was only on one of the
machines. This problem is appearing on all the copies of Access,
