I was given an access 97 database and it is marked as read only. How
can I turn off this attribute?

re: read only access database


This typically happens with many CD burner programs. You can the attributes
of any file by right-clicking on the file name in Windows explorer. Select
"properties" -"general" tab and remove the checkmark from "read only".
