Any tips on exporting my existing Q&A 4(DOS) to access 2002.
I have the following options in Q&A,

DIF
Standard ASCII
Fixed ASCII
dBase II
" III
" IV
Paradox 2.0/3.0

Thanx

re: EXPORTING Q&A DATA

dBase IV is probably the best choice. You should be able to either import or
link to that file.

Access does not, as far as I know, understand either the original or
extended DIF (that one goes all the way back to VisiCalc, and once was the
most common file format for interchanging data). If that doesn't work, you
can still try the ASCII formats... I'm not sure what "Standard ASCII" is,
though, as I tend to view ASCII files either as "delimited" or "fixed".

And, in recent versions, connectivity with Paradox files has been more
limited than in early versions of Access.
