Hi there,

Is anyone familier with an access managment system for orders?
Something simple like products, alphabetic list of clients and archive
of ordered products.

Thanks!

Jas.

re: Orders Managment System?

You've got a good start toward that with the sample Northwind Traders
database that has come with every version of Access. You'll find it in the
Samples folder in the Office (sometimes OfficeN where N is the version
number) folder in the folder hierarchy in Program Files where you installed
Office or Access.

If you want a commercial product that can be customized rather than a sample
that you have to alter, check out the offerings at
http://www.databasecreations.com. The product I have in mind used to be
called "Yes I Can Run My Business With Access" but has been renamed. It does
more than what you describe, though and it isn't free.

re: Orders Managment System?

hi
an order entry system is fairly common . . most access developers would
have created one . .

so how much are you prepared to pay . . . 100s or 1000s . ..
If you can specify it . . .we can build it . .

you have asked a very broad question . . way beyond a quick response . .
but if you seriously need such a system and cant build it yourself, I or
many others who contribute to this newsgroup can do it for you . . .

cheers paul
