Admins Member receives error 3033

In my secure database, I have the admins group and a DeptUser group. I am
trying to set up a new user in the admins group and the DeptUser group.
However, this new administrator receives the error 3033: You do not have
the necessary permissions to use the 'qryViewLD' object.

I am a member of admins and I do not get this message. I'm stumped. The
admins group has all permissions on the query.

The DeptUser group can read the design and data of this query. If I remove
the new user from the admins group, leaving membership in DeptUser group,
then she can open the query, but of course can't modify it.

Any ideas?

Brad D.

Just a quick guess, but is the other user using the same workgroup file as
you? Were the permissions for each group created under the same workgroup
file?

re: Admins Member receives error 3033

Huh? If the new user is a member of Admins and DeptUser, she gets
error 3033, but if you remove her from Admins, leaving her in
DeptUser, she can then run the query?

Sorry, I find that hard to credit. Please confirm that this is what
happens, or, explain what actually happens!

TC
