First time hearing of it (but after a bit of a search seems quite nice), the rule however tends to be quite general:
Premium or hard to find material you will mostly find in a game based on an anime (or even more, the cutsceens/premium material from the 2nd fullmetal alchemist game putten together made almost an entire episode-around 15 min if I am not mistaken) plus the quality will be top-notch. For those lucky and patience enough to find some unpublish material or fan art that it's almost identical to the originals there isn't much to say. For the less fortunate Screenshots from the anime are pretty tricky and reqire lots of patience to get a good pic. Some knowledge of a program like photoshop is often needed

no wonder I hardly find good material for avatars, if it is all packed into the games… btw. do you have good material of Aisaka Taiga (toradora)? the last one I had didn’t look good once in 50x50.

hmmm...yes although you make me sound a bit like a stalker this is indeed the first image I thought of turning to avatar when I saw yours (although this 50x50 size killed off most of the coolness of the image). Since I got my hand dirty I created some more avatars from close-ups of bleach characters (the material released from bleach games is awesome). In fact already thinking pf using one of ishida although the present of soi fong is pretty decent too

this kind of matches our relation… *gg*. I’m wondering which avatar you’ll use, once I switch back to Toph (or even Motoko).

your new avatar kinda got me in the mood too so here is a first thought.
