Sorry for the PM, but I am an enterprise developer on a massive Classic ASP 3.0 system. I have a question for you though, is it not an option to actually create an exe and schedule via task scheduler.

If you can provide me some errors or more specifics, I will most certainly attempt to assist you. I have a little experience with this as I have recently deployed a sentinel script which runs 24/7 on our web server. This app queries oracle tables and executes ad-hoc reports, packages them as excel files, then emails them based on a scheduled time store in the database.
