i just read ur problem that u face this april.
i am stuck at the same thing.
can u help me.
i wanna enter and retrive data to/from my database in mySQL.
and i want to do it through a DAO class(rather than by putting the code in action class.(they way u did in ur application.))

now my questions:
how do i enter data in a database?
and then how do i retrieve it?

i can share my code if u want..

as a programmer my advice to you is, do not work on pc continuously 6-7 hours, take break atleast every one hour, it will refresh your mind

You don't need MFC.
Use win32 api (~20 lines for screen capture)
