Why php don't report error?

I got a very odd issue: on some of my virtual hostings, php just don't
display any error/warning message if on a error. It just stopped with
a blank page. I totally have no idea if it is a php problem or an
Apache problem. If anyone can help me how to check the issue I will
appreciate. Thanks in advance!

It is probably the value of the display_errors option in php.ini (PHP
configuration file) that causes the error messages to be suppressed. If you
have access to that file simply change the value of display_errors from Off
to On.

Even if you do not have access to php.ini (which is the most common
case) you can change this behaviour with ini_set() at the beginning of
the script, see http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.ini-set.php

Important settings are display_errors and error_reporting.
