What is the best IDE for programming PHP/HTML/JavaScript etc?

I'm looking for an IDE that makes it easier to profit in the Web
Development industry. Any successful professionals want to guide me in
the right direction?

Do you mean PHPEclipse. Eclipse 3.1.x, phpeclipse-1.1.8
http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...group_id=57621

I have that but am using PHP Designer 2006 with no complaints so far.

Thanks in Advance...

Hi,

PHPEclipse is good.

I asked the same question some time ago and got many good responses and
tips.
If you want to read them, google in discussiongroups for:
php ide erwin moller
first hit.

I like PHP Designer the best at the moment, mainly because of ease-of-use
between switching for documenttypes. Do you need JS-highlighting? SQL? PHP?
HTML? etc. You can switch with just one click on the buttons at the top of
the screen.
get it here: www.mpsoftware.dk

One note: If you develop on a low end system, this package may be a bit
slow. Same goes for PHPEclipse.

Happy coding!

It depends on your needs...

I wrote gPHPEdit to fit my needs:

1) Quick
2) Native to Linux/GNOME
3) Some assistance functions (integrated help, function popup lists and
hints, templates, plugins)

I'm a successful professional and I love gPHPedit.org :-)

But if you're after interactive debugging or Windows support, (waves hand)
this isn't the software you're looking for...

Cheers,

Andy
