Default Access IE Object Models Assistance Sought, Thanks :-)

Hello, Hope everyone is well :-)

Any help would be very much appreciated......what I want to do is use
the IE 6/7 object model from within VBA (MS Access 2007) to browse to
a web site, log in using a SecureID FOB and a WInXP username/password
dialog box to then generate server requests and strip data from the
html that comes back down from the web site. This would all need to
happen in the background removed from user view - including the popup
winxp username/password dialog.

I would then want to somehow generate calendar items in the MS OWA
(Outlook Web Access) link to the exchange server in the background at
source to generate calendar entries.

All this needs to happen with the permission of, and no help from,
data custodian.

Looking for a book or online tech resource that can lead me down the
right path.
Thanks so much, would love to receive some comments, Have a wonderful
day

Could you explain how you were able to determine the best technology
to use, while, at the same time, not knowing how to use it?

Hi, thanks for your reply, my knowledge of it is being built, very,
very, slowly, the original posting is derived from small pieces of
information I have been able to find out to this point, though its as
if my research has provided a high level approach, that I assume to be
correct, though I have no low level detail & basically a very poor
understanding of the task as it stands. In other words, all I have
said are the detail from other sources, I have no understanding of the
approach, or how to do any of it.

So a reference point, the right online resource or a text book would
be wonderful in helping me understand what all this actually means on
a practical level.
Thanks again
