Default join type help

hey... i have a query with 13 fields from 1 table and i wish to add 3 fields
from a different table to this query. both tables have a [date] field but
the records won't necessarily have the SAME date for each of those two fields.
the date MAY sometimes match up but definately not all of the time. how can
i add these three fields properly?

Default Re: join type help

short answer, you can't. The data sets have to intersect somewhere.
Otherwise, how do you know what records are related?
