Set Up A Workgroup In The Command Line

I need to be able to open an Access97 db with Access 2000. But I need
to assign a workgroup to the db when it opens. I'm using Windows XP
Home edition.

I already have a shortcut on my desktop but don't know how to set it up
in the properties window. In the shortcut window there are two lines:
one that says target and another that says start in.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the help. But should I put that information in the Target
or Start In line of the properties window of the shortcut?

I did that and I get the following message: You do not have permissions
to use the .....

Is it possible because it's an Access 97 db and I'm trying to use
Access 2000 to open, that is what is causing the problem.

Do you happen to have an Access 97 runtime? I seem to recall that
Access 2000 wants you to convert the database before it will allow you
to do anything with it.

I was thinking the same thing.

I tried to go back and just load Access97 but I would get an error
message saying I don't have the license for it.

Is there a special way to reload Access 97?

Yes. You have to rename a particular font (can't remember the name of it
sorry), install A97 and then rename the font back again. Search MS'
site... they have all the details there.

Go figure why!?!?

Hatten.ttf but IIRC that's not the only reason/solution to the problem.
