Default OLE registry problem

I'm not very good with computers, and just to vex me, my Access 2000
has stopped speaking to my Excel 2000 (running Windows XP). The error
message I get talks about the OLE database server not being correctly
registered. I've reinstalled MSOffice, and disabled script blocking
on my anti-virus software, and still no dice.

If someone could help me to get Access and Excel talking to each other
again, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Kerry
