Default Why is the Switchboard Manager grayed out????

Hello:

Thanks for reading this.

I'm running A2002 as a front end to SQL Server 7.0. I've finished
building my tables, views, forms and reports. Now I want to build the
Switcboard form. But when I go to "Tools" - "Database Utilities" -----
the "Switchboard Manager" is grayed out.

Any ideas why??? And how to turn it back on????

Thanks,
Richard H

Have you built an .ADP (aka "Access Project", sometimes called "Access Data
Project" to match the initials) or an MDB (aka "Access database" or "Access
client") connected via Jet and ODBC to linked SQL Server tables.

In any case, my suggestion would be that you create your own switchboard
with unbound forms and command buttons, even if you had a fully functional
Switchboard Manager -- we see enough complaints, questions, and problems to
indicate that it is more trouble than it's worth, even in the short run.
IMNSHO, it is a complex solution for a simple problem.
