Adobe PDF

Is it possible to populate fields in a form in an Adobe PDF document
with javascript?

As far as I know you can use JavaScript in a PDF document itself but I
don't know of a way to have JavaScript in a HTML page populate fields in
a PDF document loaded in another browser frame or window.
