max hardcore prblem, setTimer delay, help

Hi!

I have a problem, is unique for me, where rendered HTML in the browser
will not work with either setTimeout or setInterval. Changing the app/
ie renderer is not a option. Can someone craft for a emergency,
something that will put a precise like 1000, 10000 or whatever
millissecond delay, and delay runs between ()functions? like

function(1)
delay 10000 ms.
and then function(2),
and so on,
