Hi,
I'm redesigning a website and am working on Safari / Firefox to do that,
and then moving to ie to fix any bug I can find (a lot)
The example page is the following :
http://opensource.sports.fr/indextest.html
I'm locked on 2 issues since a while now, which are :
- lists contained in consecutive divs of the same class get a margin
getting lower and lower
-> That's located in #nav_bottom, the containing divs are .node
- a div background color + image is not displayed in some case (cannot
find a logic there, as it's displayed sometime)
For that issue setting the inner div (.node) a padding-bottom or margin-
bottom of 1px makes the background appear magically , as does making the
inner div background transparent.
I'm using a colored background and a white+transparent gif to do the
bottom (as there are different box colors)
-> It looks OK in #headlines, but not in #scan and #nav_bottom
For the first issue I can display my list as block and put a margin +
background to do the bullet, but it's not clean :p I'll do that if there
is no workarround or if there is no error in my css
For the second issue for now I have no idea except having an ie css with
a margin/padding, but it doesn't look good (bottom is either cut or have
a line over it) - and a majority of our users have ie.
Thanks in advance,
Mathieu Masseboeuf
NB : Crossing fingers to not have the message double posted - doesn't seem
my ISP allows
posting so I'm posting from another place ...
