I recently had an abnormal EKG as a result of a simple screening. I have been referred to a cardiologist for an echocardiogram. The screening indicated that I may have had a heart attack.

I have been taking phentermine 30mg. along with Lexapro 10mg. off and on for 5 months. I am in perfect health, 52 y/o, exercise regularly, don't smoke, no family hx of heart disease and not overweight ( I took the phentermine for weight maintenance).

I now know there are heath risks associated with mixing the 2 drugs. What, specifically, are the risks and where might I find specific studies and results? Thank you.

Hi and welcome to TSDN. Hope you'll have a great time here.
They wouldn't let me do Biology as a sixth subject for A level so I'll move this to the cafe in case we have any who know some pointers in the direction.

I think you shouldn't trust anyone's medical knowledge in here; go visit a medical
doctor and play it safe. Best of luck and

kind regards,

Jos

I even run away screaming when I see half an aspirin, i.e. I don't take any medicins
at all, never, but because I have some spare time I decided to google for
"phentermine and Lexapro".

That is frightening: some say it doesn't hurt, others claim it can be lethal. *yuck*.

Not even in my *dead* body *brrrrr*

kind regards,

Jos
