Default HTML enqiury

Hai,

I have a HTML link, which when clicked should prompt a user to either
open/ save a audio file. I want to know how to do this? I thank
everyone who took pains to find this out.

With smiles,

Stop trying to program the user's browser. Instead, make sure that the
server sends the correct mime type with the audio resource (what you
call a file), and tell the visitor in the text of the page what the
resource type is. Simple and flexible.

Link to it like any other file and let the user's preferences handle the
file as they've deemed fit.
