| | | can an HTML form write to a text file?
I'd like to know if an HTML form page can be made to
output to a text file on the same computer.
The references that I've consulted only discuss the
GET and POST actions communicating with the
server, but I'd like to write to an existing file on the
browser's same machine.
TIA,
J. |

Fortunately, no. Just consider the consequences...

Do continue to top-post. It'll help us ignore you more easily.

Brian. There are better ways to bring people's mistakes to their attention
than being a pompous ass. |

Thank you. I didn't think a response was worth it.

And how is this ignoring him?
Chris
PS. Yes he did spam the list. No, two wrongs don't make a right...
Maybe he can redeem himself by trying to be helpful? |
