I disagree! I use the code below on most of my personal pages. It
provides various fade effects on entering and exiting a page. It
doesn't slow down the loading of the page, and I think it's kind of
fun. Works only in IE, but doesn't affect the 'look or feel' of the
pages in any other browser.
Keep in mind I use this only on MY personal pages. I wouldn't put it
on any kind of business page.
