| | | LOAD with COPY
Hi!
If I do a LOAD .... COPY YES TO C:\DIR then in directory c:\DIR a file
is created. When can I delete that file?
Best regards,
Kovi

| You will need this file if you have to rollforward your database, thus
you should treat it as you do with your normal backup/logfiles. I'm
under the impression that it is acually a tablespace backup, but I
can't seem to find any references that support this assumption right
now.

OK, but if I do a full offline backup then I don't need the files
anymore, right ?

| Yes, you will only need it in case you have to rollforward the
database pass the time of
the load. If you have a full offline backup after that, and never want
to restore an older version of the backup you don't need it.
