Hi everyone,

I know this is not an SQL Server question but this is I guess the closest I can get in choosing a forum.

Our client has a foxpro database which he uses for inventory management (through another application). I am building a web based e-commerce system which connects to this database through a webservice.

Now to my question. In a section of the site I load a price list , this takes a while to load so I open this in a new window so the user can continue using the website while the pricelist loads.

The problem is the user cannot use the website until the pricelist loads. This happens even when calling the webservice asynchronously. Also this only happens per session i.e. other website users can use the site normally.

Is there a connection limit in foxpro? I've done this with other databases and never had a problem.
