Default DNS configure with public ip

Hi all, please help me.

I have a public ip and public server 123.123.123.123 and it's assigned to a domain name example.com

I want to make sub domain through that ip address and point that sub domain to another public ip address
e.g foo.example.com has ip 122.122.122.122

could anyone help me to configure that subdomain?

please describe in detailed ( for dummy ).

thanks in advance.

Sokun-

As that is phrased rather like a homework question, and per our policy on homework, how do you think that should be set up? Are you familiar with the basics of DNS?
