Default some button that won't print

can I put a button (or link) that can be used to control navigation, but won't turn up on the page when it's printed?

What kind of control are you wanting to do?

If you are using a different stylesheet for printing then you can eliminate it there I would suspect. If you are expecting the person to just print the page with control-p or something similar then I can't think of a way.

Set the button style to "display: none" in your print stylesheet.
