Default AdoDc Linking Error With Oracle 8i
Hi Folks,

I m trying to link adodc Control with the Oracle 8i, as I just a starter in this program and m trying learning new things.When I try ti use connection string and select the build button, it asks me to select the data link properties (Microsoft OLE DB Provider - is wht i select) aftr clicking next and entering the default ID-password, the procedure is to Test connection but ths creates the trouble as when I click to test the connection a message box pops up saying "test connection failed because of an error in initializing provider. ORA-10134: ORACLE not available."

can anybody tell me how to debug ths problem
