how can you put a Windows media Player In you web Page and have it play movies off your computer

will this work with any computer, i mean if i was to do this example i could go on someones else computer and put my web address in and watch the movie? or just watch this on my computer only.

It's more dependent on the browser support. If the browser supports it and has the plugin, it should work. With it being Windows Media Player, it probably won't work in non-Windows systems, so you may want to look at players that are more independent.
