Hi gmani
What AS version are you using. I can tell you the steps you have to take in order to make a slideshow but first I need to know if you are using AS2 or AS3
I'm a AS3 programmer.

Hi again
There are many websites on the internet teaching how to program with AS2 and AS3

http://www.tutvid.com/
tutvid is one of the best and easy to use tutorials on Flash and AS. I found a great tutorial made by them to make a photo galery.

Here's the address :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cylX1lThTN0

Note that this video is showing AS2. But i'm sure there are also tutorials to do the same thing with AS3

So, watch this tutorial and post back if you have any issues.
